YEREVAN, OCTOBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. Industrial production of 496 bln 157 mln drams (more than 1 bln 620.2 mln USD) was made in Armenia in January-August 2008. Production of 483 bln 73.2 mln drams was sold, including sales of 47 bln 809.4 mln drams in CIS countries and sales of 104 bln 614.2 mln drams in other countries. According to the RA National Statistical Service, the industrial production index made 102.2% in the indicated period as compared with January-August 2007, the same index without the production and distribution of electricity, gas and water made 100.9%.
