YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, NOYAN TAPAN. At the September 25 sitting of the Armenian government, the Chairman of the RA State Commission on Protection of Economic Competition informed the government about complaints received from citizens in recent period. The complaints were about cases of giving short weight of bread, and the discrepancy between weight of bread products and their prices. According to the RA government's press service, in this connection the Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsian said that a law will take effect on October 1, which establishes mandatory requirements for the criteria of bread weight and their prices, as well as for availability of the respective scales at trade points. Local authorities have been sent instructions, by which they have definite obligations in this issue.
