YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The content, shots and
scenes of a 30-min documentary film presented by the social
committee on inquiry into the March 1-2 events to the public
cause serious concern, the RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunian said.
He called on the National Assembly ad hoc committee on
inquiry into the March 1-2 events to examine the events and
cases that the film contains in order to conduct a full,
comprehensive and objective investigation, in case of necessity
- also to take measures so that the film will undergo expert
examination with the aim of deciding whether the shots and
scenes of the film are real and not edited.
As NT was informed by the Informaion and PR Unit of the RA
Ombudsman's Office, A. Harutyunian said that it is urgent and
extremely important to conduct an investigation into the
especially cruel and not legal actions of the representatives of
security bodies which can be seen in the documentary - in order
to reveal and punish those who gave orders to take illegal
actions and those who committed such actions.
