LAPAN, JUNE 20, NOYAN TAPAN. 45 employees of Architect Oleg Skokarev LLC went on token strike on June 19. They told NT correspondent that although the employer pays their wages on time, they demand increasing their average salary in connection with the recent rise of prices. The company director Garegin Shokarian said that the wages are paid based on the amount of work done, no rise in wages is expected, and "if they do not want to work, others will take their place". The strikers are paid 2,500-3,000 drams daily and an additional sum of 300 drams for an hour of overtime work. They arr engaged in construction of Kapan's business center based on the order of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Enterprise.
