HENCEFORTH ALL EDUCATIONAL EXPENSES OF ARMENIAN STUDENTS AT
BEST FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES TO BE COVERED BY ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT

YEREVAN, JUNE 18, NOYAN TAPAN. Henceforth the Armenian
government will cover all educational expenses of Armenian
students studying at best foreign universities, the prime
minister Tigran Sargsian stated at the June 17 meeting with
graduates of the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE).
In his words, the government must create such conditions
for educated young people that they can receive positions in
Armenia. He said that "it is everybody's wish that ASUE would
become one of the best universities in the world, and it depends
both on the teaching staff and students," he stated.
According to the rector of the ASUE Yuri Suvarian, 1,924
students are graduating from the university this year, 927 of
whom have completed a 5-year course, while the rest have
received bachelor's degrees and 500 of them are going to apply
for admmission to the master's programs at ASUE.
