YEREVAN, APRIL 18, NOYAN TAPAN. The court of Yerevan's Kentron and Nork-Marash communities (chairman - Judge A. Petrosian) on April 18 sentenced Sargis Parunakian, 47, to 3 years' imprisonment. In the given case, S. Parunakian was charged with committing violence against a representative of the authorities in Liberty Square of Yerevan on March 1. S. Parunakian, who was previously convicted 5 times (use of drugs, theft, hooliganism, twice - for inflicting bodily injuries), did not plead guilty this time.
