YEREVAN, MARCH 18, NOYAN TAPAN. The Amber International
Chess Tournament continues in the city of Nice, France. The
games of the 3rd tour were held on March 17. Levon Aronian
competed with Boris Gelfand (Israel). A draw was registered in
blind chess and Aronian lost the game in speed chess.
Viswanathan Anand (India) is at the top of the tournament
table with 4 points after 3 tours. Levon Aronian (Armenia),
Vasily Ivanchuk (the Ukraine), Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), and
Magnus Carlsen (Norway) follow the leader with 3.5 points and
share the 2-5th places.
The games of the 4th tour are fixed for March 18.
