On June 29, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian wrapped up his visit to Georgia. Within the framework of the visit Minister Nalbandian had meetings with top officials of Georgia to discuss a number of issues of bilateral interest. Edward Nalbandian said during his meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze that there are no questions between Armenia and Georgia that cannot be solved. “The relations between Armenia and Georgia had never been on this level though the two states never had serious problems in the past,” Grigol Vashadze said, adding that the Presidents of the two countries have played a great role here. The Armenian Foreign Minister has paid a working visit to Tbilisi too. The meeting was held behind closed doors and the ministers give brief comments to reporters. “We hold 3-4 meetings a year and discuss all issues on time. This time we discussed common issues,” Vashadze stressed. Armenian Minister Nalbandian said they touched upon development of bilateral relations, particularly economic issues, as well as regional problems, without specifying them. He expressed content with the level of relations with Georgia. “There is no issue not to be solved in a bilateral format,” Edward Nalbandyan emphasized.
