YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. 12 credit agreements of the total sum equivalent to over 106.6 mln USD were signed in 2007 through the RA ministry of finance and economy. 56% of this sum was provided by the World Bank, the minister Vardan Khachatrian stated at the January 24 press conference. He said that 16 grant agreements of a sum equivalent to over 131.9 mln USD were signed, 98.9% of which was signed under the EU TACIS programs. It was stated that a credit agreement and 2 grant ones are at the preparatory stage for being signed, with their sums making 8.5 mln euros and 114 mln euros respectively. According to V. Khachatrian, in 2007 the sums of a total of 9.4 mln USD envisaged by 2nd-5th bids to Millennium Challenge Corporation were received under the Millennium Challenge - Armenia program.
