YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, NOYAN TAPAN. A donation of 1 million
100 thousand euros and a promise of donation was given during the
European phonethon held between November 15-18 by the Hayastan
All Armenian Fund. According to the information provided to a
Noyan Tapan correspondent by the Public Relations Department of
the Fund, France, Germany, Holland and Switzerland took part in
the European phonethon.
As for the result of the phonethon held in Armenia and
Artsakh between November 14 and 16, it made 142.9 million drams
(approximately 446.7 thousand U.S. dollars) as of November 19.
It should be mentioned that phonethons are being held on
the threshold of the annual telethon. The sums collected during
the telethon of this year will be directed to the implementation
of the development program of the rural regions of Armenia and
Artsakh.
