GRAND HOLDING LAUNCHES PAPER REPROCESSING PRODUCTION IN
ARMENIA

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, NOYAN TAPAN. The Grand Holding
company has launched a new production of paper reprocessing in
Armenia. 3m dollars has been invested for the purpose of
creating a new production and a paper manufacturing container
produced in China has been purchased. It will enable to work
with secondary raw materials, with paper waste material and
cellulose. The production is automatized, free of unhealthy
waste materials and corresponds to environmental norms. The
workshop occupies territory of 7100 sq.m., where 200 people will
work.
RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsian, who was present at the
workshop's opening ceremony, said that the peculiarity of this
enterprise is that it works with secondary raw materials and has
environmental significance. In particular, the Prime Minister
said that he has discussed the issue of rubbish disposal with
Yerevan Mayor and prefects. According to Serge Sargsian, the
plant will give a possibility to turn paper into production
contributing to Yerevan's cleanness.
It was mentioned that it is envisaged to open centers of
paper acceptance in Yerevan's communities and in Armenian
regions. Prices for paper waste materials acceptance will be
established. At present the company is negotiating with the
Chinese party in the direction of purchasing a container of
manufacturing napkins and toilet paper.
