YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 1, NOYAN TAPAN. 340 thousand tons of grain was harvested from sown areas of a total of 135 thousand ha in Armenia as of September 1. NT correspondent was informed by Garnik Petrosian, the head of the Plant Cultivation and Protection Department of the RA Ministry of Agriculture, that it is envisaged to harvest about 450 thousand tons of grain this year. He said that this year the average crop yield of grain made 25 centners.
