PASSENGERS OF HELICOPTER THAT CRASHED IN SYUNIK

SISIAN, JUNE 11, NOYAN TAPAN. While performing a civil
order in Syunik marz, on June 9 at 9:40 am the MI-8 helicopter
of the RA defence ministry made an emergency landing 12 km
north-east of the city of Sisian and went down beacuse of a
strong wind. As a result of the crash, the pilot - 30-year-old
capitan Artyom Trabzanian received brain and lung injuries and
was taken to Yerevan's central military hospital.
Among passenger was the RA deputy minister of energy Areg
Galstian, 51, who had an internal abdominal hemorrhage and was
taken to the military hospital of Sisian. Some other passengers
received minor injuries.
NT was informed from the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry
of Terrotorial Governance that the RA minister of Energy Armen
Movsisian was also in the helicopter. He was not hurt.
Doctors say that the injuries of A. Galstian and A.
Trabzanian are of medium severity.
