On July 7, Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Karine Kazinian received Zainol Abidin Bin Omar, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Armenia (residence in Moscow). Welcoming the guest, Deputy Minister Kazinian wished him success in fulfilling his new mission and expressed hope that the accreditation of the Malaysian Ambassador to Armenia would contribute to the deepening of the Armenian-Malaysian relations, creating a strong basis for their further development. The Ambassador underlined that his country is interested in establishing relations with Armenia and his appointment is a proof of that commitment. He assured that he would do his utmost to develop bilateral relations. During the meeting the interlocutors discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation. In particular, they stressed the importance of the cooperation within the international organizations, as well as the regular contacts on the level of the permanent representatives of the two countries. Reference was made to a number of issues of regional cooperation.
