YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenian championship of weightlifting will be held on March 5-10 in Yerevan. Men's and ladies' national teams will be formed by its results. NT correspondent was informed about it from Secretary General of Weightlifting Republican Federation, Honored coach Pashik Alaverdian. Then two preparatory teaching and training gatherings will be held, after which weightlifters will leave for the French city of Strasbourg to participate in Europe championship to be held on April 14-22. And world championship to be held in September in Thailand will give them a possibility to get a rating of Beijing-2008.
