“Successful implementation of the new post-crisis project for “Nairit” factory makes us hope that favorable situation will be formed for development of chemical industry after world economic crisis”, said Armen Movsisyan, the partner of the factory (4,5%), RA Minister of the Energy and Natural Resources at the press conference held on July 13. He noted that the Armenian Government has expressed a desire to support the implementation of this project, adding that the German «CSC» company filed an application to take part in the competition for an operator for the management of “Nairit”. Lent’s mention that the above mentioned project is worked out for the period till 2019. The project costs 512.25 million USD, 145,8 million USD is for paying the debts of the factory. The British “Rhinoville Property Limited” company (90%), "Haygazard" (3.6%) , and "Yerevan Thermal Power Plant” (1.9%) are also the partners of the factory. The Minister informed that the “Shansi-Nairit” enterprise in Chine will reach to design capacity during three months by the technology investment of “Nairit”. Now “Shansi-Nairit” has reached to 50% of the annual 30000 tones of the design capacity.
