New traces of Urartian civilization were discovered during the archaeological excavations in Van. As “TRT-Russian” reports, one of the stones with protocols which belonged to the Urartian largest temple, was discovered during the excavations in Van. The 22-year excavations of the Ayanis castle built in BC 685-645 by the command of Russa 2nd King help us to recollect the history. The castle is 35 kilometers far from Van. Numerous works of art have already been found and sent to museums.
