Recently Kurd’s activities have activated in Turkey and they can cause serious conflicts. The doctor of political sciences, professor Levon Shirinyan and turkologist Levon Hovsepyan expressed such opinion during the press conference o July 20. “The most important thing is the declaration of Kurd’s autonomy and if Kurd’s requirements are satisfied it will end with hell,” noted L Shirinyan, adding that Turkey’s attempts of Europeanization will fail. In L. Hovsepyan’s opinion, the main cause of the situation is that Turkey’s government doesn’t lead a right policy. “Generally, Erdoghan’s government couldn’t give the right solution and should show a new approach,” he said. Among possible allies of Turkey the speakers noted Syria and Iran. According to the speakers, one of the possible conflicts in Turkey is the opportunity of solution of the Armenian question. “If Kurds establish their autonomy in Turkey, then it will give us a chance to solve the issue of Armenian lands. <...> We don’t have and shouldn’t have any connection with these issues, our main problem is the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the issue of Armenian-Azerbaijani border. We should follow the developments and try to solve internal issues of our state and modernize the army,” L.Shirninyan said. “Iran and Armenia don’t have a right to misunderstand each other. But we should take note that very often such situations are uncontrollable,” speakers said.
