MONETARY INCOMES OF ARMENIAN POPULATION EXCEED EXPENDITURES
BY 2.8% IN JANUARY-OCTOBER 2006

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. In January-October 2006,
the monetray incomes of the RA population made 1 trillion 304
billion 658.1 million drams (over 3 bln 68 mln USD), while
monetary expenditures - 1 trillion 268 billion 168.6 million
drams. These indices grew by 19.6% and 19.9% respectively on the
same period of last year.
According to the RA National Statistical Service, real
monetary incomes of the population (incomes less compulsory
payments, taking into account the changes in the concumer price
indices) grew by 17% in January-October 2006 on the same months
of 2005.
In September 2006, the average monthly nominal salary
exceeded 4.4fold the minimal salary against 4.1fold in September
of last year.
78% of the population's monetary incomes was used on
purchase of goods and payment of services (79.5% in
January-October 2005), 5.4% - on compulsory and voluntary
payments (5.6%), 0.9% - on making deposits (0.3%) and 12.9% - on
purchasing foreign currency (11.6%).
In January-October 2006, the monetary expenditures of
Armenian citizens made up 97.2% of their incomes against 97% in
the same period of last year.
