52.3% OF OFFICIAL TRANSFERS FOR 2006 RECEIVED IN

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, NOYAN TAPAN. In January-October 2006,
the RA state budget received official transfers of 4.5 bln drams
(about 10.6 mln USD), which made up 52.3% of the programmed
annual index.
According to the RA Ministry of Finance and Economy, more
than 2.6 bln drams of the indicated sum was allocated by the
Dutch government within the framework of the WB second credit
program on poverty reduction. 863.3 mln drams was allocated by
the British government as budgetary assistance for poverty
reduction. This sum compensated 10% of liabilities on the RA
state servicing towards the International Development
Association (IDA). Another 384.3 mln drams was allocated by the
British government for the implementation of the regional
development programs in Gegharkunik and Tavush marzes. The
Japanese government provided 552.5 mln drams. About 43.9 mln
drams of the indicated sums was transferred to extrabudgetary
accounts of state institutions.
The amount of grants for the RA state budget increased by
1.1 bln drams on the same period of last year.
