KAPAN, NOVEMBER 23, NOYAN TAPAN. On November 22, at about 9 am Robert Zakarian, 53, of the city of Kapan, hit with an axe in the head Hovik Harutyunian, 38, of the village of Saravan (Vayots Dzor marz), who was sleeping on the sofa in the house of R. Zakarian's brother. Hovik Harutyunian died a few hours later in hospital. NT correspondent was informed by the chief investigator of the prposecutor's office of Syunik marz that based on the fcat, a criminal case was opened according to Article 104 Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, and that the investigation is underway.
