YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. At the November 7 sitting, the Armenian government made a decision to give up its preferential right to acquire 90% of 169,539,381 shares of ArmenTel CJSC of the total value of 341,888,105 euros, which are sold by OTE organization. According to the RA government Information and PR Department, the decision was made based on the regulations of ArmenTel CJSC, the requirements of the RA Law on Joint Stock Companies, the compromise agreement signed between the RA Government and ArmenTel CJSC on November 25, 2004, and the official press release of Hellinic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) of November 7, 2006.
