YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. The 2nd stage meetings were held on November 7 in Moscow at the chess international tournament dedicated to the memory of Mikhail Tal. Leading grand master of Armenia Levon Aronian played a drawn game with Azeri Shahriyar Mamedyarov. After the 2nd stage, Levon Aronian, Boris Gelfand and Ruslan Ponomaryov have 1.5 points each, Mamedyarov, Shirov, Svidler and Leko have 1 point each, Grishchuk, Karlsen and Morozevich have 0.5 point each. The 3rd stage meetings are on November 8.
