YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, NOYAN TAPAN. 1300 registration cards
of people searching a job were studied this year at 10
territorial centers of the State Employment Service of Armenia.
Some breaches and faults were found in 193 of them. As Vahan
Baghdasarian, the Chief of the Control and Social Monitoring
Department of the RA Ministry of Labour and Social Issues stated
at the November 1 press conference, about 2 mln drams (about 4.5
thousand U.S. dollars) more and 130 thousand drams incomplete
payments were fixed. He mentioned that main breaches are provided,
particularly, by wrong calculation of the work experience for
deciding duration of the unemployment benefit.
V.Baghdasarian also mentioned that implementation of
pension payments were studied on October 10-25 at the "Haypost"
CJSC postal departments of the Tumanian region. In his words, as
a result of the study, cases were fixed when the pension was
given to another person, instead of being given to the pensioner
himself. In some cases, instead of a pensioner, other adult
members of the family signed in the payment lists and got the
pension. Besides, it was found out as a result of control that
at No2 postal department, the postman paid a died man's pension
to the pensioner's son. In V.Baghdasarian's words, it was found
out as a result of study that 25 similar cases were fixed in
that department earlier.
