ENVISAGED TO RISE IN 2007 SIZE OF ANNUAL MONETARY
ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS OF GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, NOYAN TAPAN. The draft to the RA 2007
state budget envisages to rise the size of annual monetary
assistance giving to the Great Patriotic War veterans for making
use of electric energy and transport: it will become 3800 drams
from 3000 drams (about 8 U.S. dollars). Jemma Baghdasarian, the
Chief of the Problems of Invalids and Elderly Peoples of the RA
Ministry of Labour and Social Issues stated about it at the
October 18 press conference. In her words, it's envisaged to
rise by 1200 drams money given to invalid veterans, people made
equal to them and widows of servicement died in the Great
Patriotic War and their children invalid from childhood for
making use of electric energy, paying for gas, water supply,
water drainage and heat supply. It will make 5700 drams in 2007.
J.Baghdasarian mentioned that it is envisaged to rise the
size of annual monetary assistance given to invalid servicemen
and died servicemen's families for making use of transport,
rising it from 6000 drams to 7500 drams. By the way, if a family
has more than 5 members, 2500 drams instead of present 2000
drams will be given for each of more than 5 members.
It was also mentioned that it is envisaged to rise by 20
thousand drams the annual money given to the genocide survivors.
It will make 25 thousand drams.
