35 ARMENIAN LIBRARIANS GIVEN RA CULTURE MINISTRY'S AWARDS
ON OCCASION OF LIBRARIAN'S DAY

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. On October 10, awards of RA Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs were given to 35 librarians of Armenia on the occasion of the Librarian's Day officially marked in Armenia for third year. Marina Koshkakarian, librarian of Yerevan Children's Library after Khnko Aper, Susanna Minasian (Syunik region), Fatma Khachatrian (library department of National Assembly information department) and Gaspar Grigorian (Aragatsotn region) were awarded Ministry's gold medals. Twelve librarians of the country received Ministry's certificates of honor and nineteen letters of thanks. Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosian said that everything should be done to increase the role and significance of libraries, as well as limits of their functions. "Though libraries are in not such a good state, I hope this sphere will develop year by year and all problems will be solved in the future," the Minister said.
