YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, NOYAN TAPAN. The 2nd international Armagroforum will be held in Yerevan's Karen Demirchian Sport and Concert Complex on September 22-23 on the initiative of the RA Ministry of Agriculture. The event is organized with the assistance of the UNDP and the World Bank. Heads of the agricultural sphere of Armenia and a number of foreign countries, representatives of organizations engaged in agribusiness and wholesale trade will participate in the event. Iren Melkonian, chief expert of the Foreign Relations and Marketing Department of the RA Ministry of Agriculture, told NT correspondent that the forum's purpose is to encourage business in Armenia's agricultural foodstuffs production and to promote the cooperation between Armenian producers and Diasporan and foreign trade organizations. The best production of Armenia's food industry and the agricultural and industrial sector will be displayed at the exhibition to be held within the framework of the forum.
