EGYPTIAN TECHNICAL COOPERATION FUND IMPLEMENTS USEFUL
PROGRAMS IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. At the September 12
meeting, the Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and the
Secretary General of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation
with CIS Countries, Ambassador Vahid El-din Ismail Jalal
expressed their satisfaction at the long-standing cooperation
between various Armenian ministries and the fund, noting that
the programs implemented have been useful for Armenian experts.
According to a press release submitted to NT by the RA MFA
Press and Information Department, during the meeting the sides
underlined the existing mutual warm relations between Armenia
and Egypt, expressing confidence about further development of
these relations.
Reference: The fund was established in 1992 by Egypt's
Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim of promoting relations
with CIS members states and several Eastern European countries.
The fund operates for the purpose of staff training in such
fields as diplomacy, trade and privatization, banking system,
agriculture, etc. The fund supports foreign students in Egypt by
allocating scholarships for them. It also promotes exchange of
experience among experts.
