YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, NOYAN TAPAN. In 2006 January-July the chemical industry enterprises of Armenia manufactured production amounting to 11 bln 157 mln drams (more than 25.3 mln USD) or less by 10.4% as compared the same period of 2005. According to the data of RA National Statistical Service, the share of chemical industry in the total industrial production made 3.7%. Among the main kinds of chemical industry the production of paints increased by 35.4% as compared with the analogous period of 2005, of detergents by 7.7%, of chemical-pharmacological production by 6.3% and the production of synthetic rubber and caustic soda reduced by 22.9% and 40.7%, respectively.
