YEREVAN, JUNE 28, NOYAN TAPAN. Ardshininvestbank CJSC has 51 branches in all Armenian marzes. The bank's overall capital makes over 10 bln drams (about 24 mln USD). The bank manages assets of 55 bln drams and has liabilities of about 45 bln drams. Ardshininvestbank's Chairman Aram Andreasian stated this on June 28 at the reopening of Echmiadzin branch, which underwent repairs and was fitted with new equipment in May-June 2006. According to him, the fact that the total amount of natural persons' time deposits with the bank has increased by 0.8 bln drams in 2006, exceeding 10 bln drams is indicatibe of a trust in Ardshininvestbank. About 60% of the 22 bln-dram credit portfolio of the bank was used for crediting such sectors as industry, construction and trade, while the amount of consumer credits provided totals 9 bln drams. This year the bank has issued 8,639 plastic cards, whose number currently makes 19 thousand.
