MORELIA, FEBRUARY 21, NOYAN TAPAN. All 4 games of the 3rd tour of the Linares Chess Super-tournament ended in a draw. World cup-holder Levon Aronian, representative of Armenia, competed with a world champion Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria). Though L.Aronian had an advantage and was trying to win, however the strong competitor showed a persistent resistance and finally the game ended in a draw on the 113rd move. After three tours the participants of the Linares tournament take places in the table with the following sequence: 1-2. Pyotr Svidler (Russia), Peter Leko (Hungary) with 2.5 points each, 3. Vasili Ivanchuk (Ukraine) 2 points, 4-5. Levon Aronian (Armenia), Etien Bacro (France) 1.5 points each, 6. Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) 1 point, 7-8. Fransisko Valejo (Spain), Temur Rajabov (Azerbaijan) 0,5 point.
