STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 14, NOYAN TAPAN. 2,004 births and 1,260 deaths were registered in the NKR in 2005, which constitutes a 4.3% and a 3.5% decline compared with the respective indices of the previous year. The number of still born children made 12 (2 in 2004) and the number of those who died up to the age of one year made 24 (24 in 2004). According to a report of the Information-Analytical Department of the NKR MFA, in 2005, the natural growth of the population made 744 persons, or fewer by 45 persons (less by 6.8%) on 2004. 751 marriages and 135 devorces were registered in the NKR in 2005, which is fewer by 47 marriages and 46 devorces compared with the 2004 indices.
