62 CIVIL SERVANTS DISMISSED FROM WORK BECAUSE OF BEING NOT
COMPETENT FOR POSTS IN 2005

YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, NOYAN TAPAN. 3764 citizens submitted
bids to take part in the 1342 competitions of vacancies in the
Civil Service announced in 2005. As it was announced by the RA
Civil Service Council, 216 of the announced competitions didn't
take place and there was no winner in 150 of them.
Last year 1178 civil servants passed certification, 62 out
of which were not competent for the posts and were dismissed.
For not doing the official duties because of invalid reason
or for doing them not properly the corresponding heads of the
bodies presented 6 applications to CSC in 2005, that were set
going and official examinations were appointed in connection
with them. As a result of the examinations three civil servants
were dismissed from their posts.
In 2005 the CSC adopted the retraining strategy and
standards of the civil servants that will be realized from this
year. It was mentioned that 5672 civil servants passed the first
retraining. The process of the second stage of the retraining
will have a more specialized character, that is the civil
servants will have retraining in accordance with their
professional spheres.
