YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, NOYAN TAPAN. The jubilee evening organized on November 14 at RA Union of Theater Figures was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of well-known Armenian theater producer and actor, RA Honored Artist Rem Sargsian. As RA People's Artist Yervand Ghazanchian, Chairman of the Union of Theater Figures, mentioned, Rem Sargsian worked at many theaters and his talented stagings have remained in the history of the Armenian theater for ever. In Y.Ghazanchian's affirmation, Rem Sargsian never "trumpeted" about his original art and remained in the history of the Armenian cinema and theater with his artistic word. He stood out for the very modesty. "Rem Sargsian carried out his work modestly and the Armenian theater exists today thanks to such people," the Chairman of the Union of Theater Figures noted. "Rem Sargsian was my teacher. If I have achieved something, I am obliged to R.Sargsian for it as the people knows and appreciates me thanks to him," RA Honored Artist Ashot Ghazarian emphasized.
