YEREVAN, October 20 (Noyan Tapan). The Drama Theater after Hrachia Ghaplanian will open the season on October 23 with the premiere of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" tragedy. Artur Utmazian, an RA People's Artist, will perform Macbeth's role. 80 out of 124 actors of the theater are involved in the performance. The expenditures of staging made 6.5 mln drams, and only 600,000 of them were allocated by the RA Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs. According to Armen Khandikian, theater's Artistic Director, it is Shakespeare's sixth play performed by the actors of the Drama Theater after Hrachia Ghaplanian. Armen Khandikian said that there are 16 plays in the current repertoire of the theater today.
