IJEVAN, August 12 (Noyan Tapan). Gagik Gevorgian, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian Chess Federation (ACF), and international grand master Smbat Lputian, Chairman of the Chess Academy, were in the Tavush region on August 12. They participated in the opening of the branches of the Armenian Chess Federation and the Chess Academy. Armen Ghularian, Governor of the Tavush region, was elected Head of the ACF regional branch. The same day, Smbat Lputian held synchronous game with 21 chess-players of Tavush.
