On June 23, the project referring to the Armenian law “On the development and state support to the small and medium enterprise” was approved at the sitting of the Armenian Government. It will be submitted to the National Assembly of Armenia. The National Assembly Deputy Samvel Balasanyan presented a conclusion on the project of the Armenian law “On the development and state support to the small and medium enterprise”, where it is particularly mentioned that, taking into consideration, that all the preconditions for the legal-legislative settlement for business activity, especially for SME exist in Armenia, the government does not consider the adoptation of the bill advisable. The government approved the projects referred to “The list of companies with the state participation of 50 percent and more and the time table of the adoption of cooperative management code, as well as the permission for the extension of the term of customs regime “for temporary import for processing” by "SPS CIGARONNE” LTD.” The government also approved the project by number 17 decision which gives tax and customs privileges in case of the investment program exceeding 300 million AMD by "Ekotomato" CJSC. As Armenian Prime Minister mentioned “We have investment projects with 61 million AMD, now we have nearly 10000 places for jobs. And it is supposed that nearly 1700 places for jobs will be during the implementation process of the project”.
