The coalition government won't resume negotiations with the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) unless the ANC discontinues its illegal rally at Liberty Square, Republican MP Gagik Minasyan told. "Resumption of a dialogue is fruitless at present. Only after the end of the rallies shall we speak to the ANC representatives," he said. The coalition parties today met in the National Assembly to discuss ANC's proposal to resume the talks. Minasyan says that they find the disruption of the dialogue illogical, especially after the numerous calls of the authorities. "We do not accept misinterpretation of the authorities' legal actions and abortion of the dialogue," said the Republican MP who hopes that his partners from the ANC will finally realize that resumption of the dialogue is the only fruitful way to resolve the existing problems. "I feel pity that we have wasted so much time," he concluded.
