On October 5 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan met Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. Greeting the guest the Foreign Minister Nalbandyan highly praised the relations between the two friendly countries based on mutual respect and trust. At the meeting a number of issues referring to politics and economy were also touched upon. Both sides emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation for the development of inter-state relations. Nabih Berri noted that Armenian community in Lebanon has an important role in poltical, economic and cultural life of the country and it is a unique link between the two countries. As the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Noyan Tapan the sides discussed opportunities to resolve existing problems in the Middle East and the South Caucasus.
