On October 6 the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in the opening of the state college in Artashat region, which has been fully reconstructed and added with modern technique and laboratory equipments. The head of the government, the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan and head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger got acquianted with the conditions of the college. Six specialities are taught in the college-pharmaceutics, dental mechanics, cosmetology, accountancy, organization of transportation and management, as well as software. During the recent years within the framework of cooperation between the RA government and the EU 12 specialized secondary educational establishments opened in our country. The goal of the program is to improve the quality of specialized secondary education in the regions. The EU allocated 30 million euros for the implementation of the program.
