VivaCell-MTS and BirthLink continue the project of equipping regional hospitals

The Noyemberyan Medical Center registered 300 births last year. The early-born infants and those born with innate diseases were being sent to the capital due to the lack of necessary equipment to provide the required medical care.
The problem is now solved in Noyemberyan. VivaCell-MTS and BirthLink NGO have equipped the hospital with bubble CPAP, pulse oximeter, portable oxygen cylinder, emergency bag, heated mattress, intensive care cot and other neonatal care equipment, which allow the specialists to provide a comprehensive help to the patients.
Narek and Nare were born in two different families living in two different cities – Alaverdi and Noyemberyan. However, due to the respiratory distress syndrome, both of them have spent the first two weeks of their lives under the doctors’ supervision in the same medical center. The problems that threatened the infants’ lives are now overcome and the children are at home already.

Modern equipment guarantees effectiveness of the made efforts.
