ARMENIAN PUPILS HAVE UNPRECEDENTED SUCCESS IN TWO
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS HELD IN MOSCOW

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, NOYAN TAPAN. 9 from 10 pupils
representing Armenia at the international competition of
physicomathematical and natural sciences held on November 3-9 at
the Moscow Institute for Open Education among high grades pupils
of the CIS countries got diplomas of different categories. And
the Armenian pupils got all the 3 diplomas: of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd
category, on mathematics.
Bagrat Yesayan, the RA Deputy Minister of Education and
Science informed journalists about it at the November 22 press
conference. In his words, in this competition held already for
the 3rd time, Armenia fixed such a success for the first time,
for what Artavazd Samian, the delegation head, candidate of
physicomathematical sciences, teacher of the A.Shahinian
physicomathematical school, got a special letter of thanks.
Bagrat Yesayan also stated that Yelena Adamian, a high
grade pupil of Yerevan V.Mayakovski school No7 was involved in
the first five of the best participants of the competition,
recognized as an absolute winner at the 5th international
competition of Russian language and literature taken place at
the A.Pushkin Institute of Russian Language on the same days in
Moscow. This victory gives her possibility to study without
taking exams at that higher educational institution from the
next year after leaving the school.
