Director of the Foundation for the Study of Armenian Architecture Samvel Karapetyan today presented the multilingual illustrated album entitled “Ani”, which was released by the order of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. “The album is composed of several sections, and each section begins with a detailed plan of the structure. The album is also unique in that even though there have not been many studies and measurements before this, many edifices have not been studied, and this book includes the measurements of all buildings,” said the speaker, mentioning that the edifices are presented through "3D modeling", reports PanARMENIAN.Net. The album also includes the churches that existed in the villages near Ani and hadn’t been included in any map until the release of this album. The album includes a total of more than 600 photos. According to Samvel Karapetyan, it is interesting for architects and those who appreciate beauty. The release of the album is part of the events dedicated to the 1,050th anniversary of the foundation of Ani.
