ANTELIAS, Lebanon - In a letter addressed to the President of the Armenian Republic of Karabagh, His Holiness Aram I greeted the 20th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi in Karabagh. In the letter His Holiness reminded the strategic importance of this region for the security of Karabagh. He also praised the faith and the courage of Armenian soldiers who shed their blood to restore justice and dignity for the Armenian people. The President of Karabagh personally invited His Holiness to attend the ceremonies which will take place on the 9th of May. However, due to His prior commitments in Abu Dhabi and Tehran, His Holiness was not able to attend the celebrations.
