On 16 September President of Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received the participants of the conference “Man and the Space” professor of the Institute of Astrophysics of Canary Islands and European Northern Observatory Gagik Israelyan, famous astronauts Charles Duke (USA) and Claude Nicollier (Switzerland). President Bako Sahakyan expressed his gratitude to the famous scientists and astronauts for coming to Artsakh and participating in such an important event, which will contribute greatly to the development of science in our country. The guests in their turn expressed satisfaction with the fact that the first conference held in memory of the world-famous astronaut Neil Armstrong was held in Artsakh. Issues related to the development of exact sciences and organizing different international scientific events in Artsakh were discussed as well.
