On October 29, 2012 at CJSC "SCR" the discussion took place on the results of the autumn commission examination and roads preparedness for winter headed by CEO of the Company V. Rebets. At the meeting the heads of the departments, boards, production companies and business units of the Company made presentations. Participants presented the problems that had been identified during the autumn inspection. The meeting discussed measures to solve them and ensure the smooth operation of the tracks, power devices, automation, telemechanisms and the proper state of subgrade and structures. During the inspection considerable work was carried out to bring in the proper state the track facilities, all infrastructure industry farms, industrial and public facilities of the road. CEO of CJSC "SCR" Victor Rebets personally controlled the implementation of the inspection in which the defects had been eliminated immediately on time by decision makers up to the level of deputy chief of the railway. The main purpose of the commission inspection was to determine the level of preparedness of the tracks to work in winter 2012-2013, to indicate the current shortcomings and remove them. In addition, the Commission checked everything directly related to the safety of train operation and technology. Special attention was paid to issues of labor processes. An important result of the commission's work was an assessment of the heads’ organizational leadership, their personal participation in prevention activities aimed at reliable operation. Note that in early November SCR starts inspection of locomotives and motor-car vehicles. The autumn inspection will be considered at the weekly operational meetings.
