July 9, 2013, Armenia- Gyumri has finally found its future...and that future is technology. But what Gyumri needs is to be branded and to be marketed here in Armenia and all over the world that Gyumri is becoming a future tech and creative city. The first phase for any branding is to set a vision. That vision has been developed by the community with examples like the Gyumri Technopark, the Gyumri IT Center and the entire people of Gyumri who want to make a positive change in their city.
That vision has been named Digital Pomegranate. The name hold both a great future and a great cultural past. What is needed now is a logo that represents this vision and name. iTehcnology.am announces the open voting and selection for the Digital Pomegranate brand.
The Contest was organized by iTechnology.am online magazine in the framework of Digital Pomegranate project which aims to promote Gyumri as a future tech and creative city. It has the goal to be a network of starting programmers, web designers and to serve as a community for startups.
Now the Armenian people have a vote and a voice to select the winning logo. They can cast their vote by going to http://www.itechnology.am/2013-design-issue/digital-pomegranate-needs-a-logo/ and selecting the design that best represents the Digital Pomegranate vision and brand. Voting is open till July28.
