Foreign Minister of Armenia met the Secretary of State for European Affairs of France

On December 3, Edward Nalbandian, participating in the activities of the OSCE Ministerial Council In Belgrade, had a meeting with Harlem Désir, Secretary of State for European Affairs of France.
Minister Nalbandian and Secretary of State Désir discussed the privileged relations between Armenia and France, as well as numerous issues on the bilateral agenda.
Secretary of State Désir expressed gratitude to Minister Nalbandian for expressing solidarity with France after the Paris terror attacks, outlining that France greatly appreciates the support of friendly states during this difficult moment.
The sides mutually highlighted that the civilized world must unite its efforts in the fight against terrorism to eradicate that evil.
Foreign Minister of Armenia and Secretary of State for European Affairs of France touched upon the new legal basis for negotiations between Armenia and the EU. The sides expressed hope that the current achievements will facilitate the process in reaching a new agreement.
