Newly-appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh handed over the copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister

On January 21, Jashim Uddin, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Armenia (residence in Athens) handed over the copies of his credentials to Sergey Manassarian, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia.
Welcoming the guest, Deputy FM Manassarian commended the decision of Bangladeshi authorities to appoint first Ambassador to Armenia. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs wished success to the Ambassador in his mission, expressing hope that the Ambassador would have his significant input in the establishment and expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The Ambassador, expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, assured that during his tenure he would spare no effort for the development of relations between Armenia and Bangladesh.
During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Manassarian and Ambassador Uddin touched upon a wide range of political, economic, educational and cultural issues. In this context, both sides attached importance to the organization of mutual visits, holding of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, as well as cooperation within international organizations.
