On 30 April President Bako Sahakyan convoked a working consultation dedicated to the development of information and telecommunication technologies in the republic. Special attention was paid to the issue of founding an information technology center in Artsakh. The Head of the State noted the importance of developing this sphere underlining that it had both political and economic significance for our republic. The President also noted that to secure desirable results it was necessary establish cooperation with corresponding circles of Armenia and the Diaspora. In this context Bako Sahakyan rated high the efforts of the Armenian ministry of economy, “Enterprise Incubator” foundation, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia and a number of other organizations, whose representatives were present at the consultation. According to the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President, Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials partook at the consultation.
